Hospitality Team Member ST0233

Please note that all the options in Hospitality Team Member ST0233 standard are being replaced by two new standards.

The following four options will be replaced by ST1488 Food and Beverage Team Member. These four options will remain available for new apprenticeship starts until 31st March 2025. 

Option 1 Food and beverage service
Option 2 Alcoholic beverage service
Option 3 Barista
Option 4 Food production

These four options will be retired for new apprenticeship starts from the 31st of March.

The following five options will be replaced by ST1420 Hospitality Accommodation Team Member. These five options will remain available for new starts until the replacement standard is approved for delivery- date to be confirmed by IfATE.
Option 5 Concierge and guest services
Option 6 Housekeeping
Option 7 Reception
Option 8 Reservations
Option 9 Conference and events operations

PAL is in the process of updating epaPRO. The resource Padlet for Food and Beverage Team Member ST1488 will be available by the 7th of April.

Production Chef ST0589

Please note that a new version of the Production Chef ST0589  standard will be available for new apprenticeship starts from the 1st of April 2025.  Please click here for PAL’s Summary of the changes. The resource Padlet will be available by the 7th of April.

We are pleased to let you know that, although the funding has been increased, there will be no change to EPA fee charged by Professional Assessment.
