Gateway Review

The apprentice must complete their on-programme  training  and meet the gateway requirements before starting their EPA.

The employer and provider agree that the apprentice is ready for EPA.

The provider refers the apprentice to PAL and submits the required gateway documents.

PAL reviews the gateway documents and, if they are satisfactory, accepts the apprentice for EPA.

2.

EPA Planning Meeting

Within three working days of gateway acceptance, the apprentice and employer are contacted by PAL to arrange a planning meeting.

At the Planning Meeting, all aspects of EPA are planned and discussed and dates for assessments are agreed.
